Located in a cozy corner of Almaden Valley, our family-owned and operated pizzeria has a sophisticated, yet family feel. Amato has something for everyone in the family other than award-winning food- 3 Large HD TVs, a bar seating up to 8 guests serving elegant wine & refreshing beer on-tap, and video games for the kids. Our remodeled and updated store allows our guests to have a memorable experience- our new booths are now bordered by a privacy glass around providing a comfortable yet private visit. With strategic lighting, colors, and design we hope that our guests truly can get away from their busy day and just unwind!
With half of our dining room surrounded by large windows and views of the Santa Cruz Mountains, a flood of natural light brightens our store. The openness of Amato is perfect for large parties as well, we have seating for up to 110, as well as an outdoor patio nestled within lush landscaping and heaters.
At Amato, our guests and staff are always the first priority. We are consistently looking to improve our menu, store, and technology keeping up with the demands of present-day and driven guests. In addition to pizza, we also serve a variety of cold & warm drinks, appetizers, pasta, ravioli, sandwiches, calzones, and delicious desserts. We have added a few gluten options as well such as Gluten-Free Crust (Medium Pizza Size Only) along with Hard Cider.
Our employees use only the finest and freshest ingredients to create your pizzas. To give a stamp of approval, we have continuously received 100/100 ratings on our health inspection tests from the Santa Clara Health Department, as well as collecting awards and prizes such as Neighborhood Favorite & Best of The Bay.
Our signature pizzas are made with fresh hand-kneaded and rolled dough, homemade sauces, a daily shredded mix of Mozzarella and Monterey Jack cheeses, fresh-cut veggies, sliced meats & sea options. How fresh can we possibly go? Extremely fresh – our produce is straight from local farms – which the farmers themselves deliver either from Hollister, Half Moon Bay, or Central Valley! Our Gluten-Free crusts are also made in a local and separate kitchen, delivered to us weekly. If you would like to experience what pizza should taste like, you may either pick from our large Specialty pizzas or get your mind roaming and create your own signature custom pizza.
